CAMERINO

Camerino is a medieval hill-top university town in the province of Macerata in the Le Marche region of central Italy. Le Marche is bordered by the Adriatic sea and the regions of Umbria, Abruzzo and Emilia-Romagna. The countryside is varied becoming more mountainous and sparsely populated as you approach the high Apennine mountain chain that forms the backbone of the Italian peninsula. Camerino is a convenient starting point to explore the Le Marche region and the adjacent Umbrian province of Perugia with its famous town of Assisi. Camerino's pleasant historic centre is ideal for shopping, strolling around or having a coffee in one the many bars. Art works can be seen in its museums, churches and ancient palazzi. The countryside around Camerino is characterised by mountains and valleys, cultivated fields and small woodlands, ancient hamlets and isolated farmhouses. Camerino's history is closely linked to its 700-year-old university, UNICAM, or the Università degli Studi di Camerino.

The rhythm of the body, the melody of the mind and the
harmony of the soul create the symphony of life.
